I love making homemade cleaning and self care products with my essential oils. However, it’s hard to find a local source for unscented castile soap. Cove liquid castile has become my answer. No more limitations to just tea tree smelling castile soap. This is a great base soap for all sorts of products….floor cleaners, surface cleaners, hand soap, foaming face wash, etc. I use it for everything. I add essential oils to correspond with my goal (disinfecting for household cleaning, astringent and toning for skin care, etc.) I can easily control the benefits and the smell for the things I make.

It comes in a large bottle that will provide many uses. It washes clean, easily, without leaving any residue.

I received this at a significant discount in exchange for an honest review.

I seriously, seriously, seriously love these books! I will start off by saying I received the book at a significant discount in exchange for an honest review….but I would happily pay full price for this. Honestly.

I am a homeschool mom who has been teaching my son at home for the last 4 years. We are about to start 4th grade and I have sifted through a metric ton or so of curriculum and supplemental books in the last few years. It’s overwhelming. There are so many wonderful resources (and equally as many awful books and such.) This series has become a very bright little spot in our schooling endeavors.

The author writes in simple but interesting language. She incorporates facts, art, geography, culture and history into modern day language and most importantly, modern day application. Such as, talking about how your relationship with your family members might be if you lived in older times…children are able to connect because they understand their current relationships and can imagine applying those to past times.

These books are great for elementary aged students. Slightly older students might use them as supplemental material for projects. If you are looking for great additions to your homeschool curriculum, these won’t disappoint you.

I will preface this by saying I have had about a dozen diffusers that I have used in my home. I am a bit obsessed. :) However, when offered the chance to receive this one at a significant price reduction in exchange for an honest review, I thought it would be a great chance to test out yet another model.

This diffuser has a round footprint that is just 5 inches or so, so it fits just about anywhere. It has a soft hum (not noiseless as described in the listing) that is soothing. Very similar to white noise, but much softer in volume. It has very simple controls with just two buttons: a light button and a mist button. The light button, if clicked once, will rotate through a variety of shades and colors. You can click the button again on any color and it will stay on that color instead of continuing to rotate. The mist button, if clicked once will turn on intermittent misting (30 seconds on, 30 seconds off) which prolongs the duration the diffuser will run. If clicked a second time it will runs constantly. There are no other timer options on this diffuser.

This is a solid little diffuser. Your options are minimal, but it does the job and the price can’t be beat. It comes with the AC adapter and a handy little cup to fill the diffuser to the proper line with water.
