My mom loves RFID wallets. She is convinced that they protect her personal information better than standard wallets, so everything sensitive that she carries must be in one of these. I am always on the look out for them for her. This is a beautiful one in a traditional leather. Very classy looking.

As I work on losing weight, improving my health and getting my labwork in order, I’ve been looking a lot at high protein, low carb diets. Carbs become sugar in the body so that can be a big piece of the uphill battle.

The ketogenic diet is counter intuitive because it’s high fat. But good fats are healthy for our brains and bodies. It also focuses on the low carb aspect. I’m not entirely sold on this diet, but I can see where it is compatible with an Atkins type diet.

This particular book provides some great recipes and ideas for those considering this diet.

This is a fabulously fun brain teaser for anyone who enjoys puzzles…and everyone who loves brick building (like Legos.) This game gives you challenges that you must build with a predetermined number of bricks. It’s sort of like the brain teasers you might find in restaurants to keep you entertained until the food arrives.

My son is obsessed with Legos and loves all things similar (such as Minecraft.) It was a no brained to get these for him. We use them both for fun, as well as breaks between school subjects, as we homeschool.

We highly recommend this game and will be buying the other game offered by this company that is similar.

This is the fourth book by this author that I have purchased. I am simply in love. I am a homeschool mom of an elementary aged boy and these books have really made history easier and more interesting. We are using these as supplements to our normal history studies but I can tell you that my son prefers the days that we are reading these books instead of our normal work.

The author does a brilliant job of incorporating vocabulary words into easy to read, age appropriate stories. The stories take the kids on a journey of a different time frame and geographic location and makes them really feel a part of it. It encourages them to think about what would be different…how people would act, dress, etc. It makes the history much more real and relatable for young children. We will not only continue using these books in our elementary schooling but we will keep them for reference material purposes in older grades. Even the grown ups learn new things from these stories.

I’m so thrilled to have found this author and to be using her books. I received this book at a significant discount in exchange for an honest review. A positive review was not promised but is enthusiastically given because these books really are fantastic!

I love making homemade cleaning and self care products with my essential oils. However, it’s hard to find a local source for unscented castile soap. Cove liquid castile has become my answer. No more limitations to just tea tree smelling castile soap. This is a great base soap for all sorts of products….floor cleaners, surface cleaners, hand soap, foaming face wash, etc. I use it for everything. I add essential oils to correspond with my goal (disinfecting for household cleaning, astringent and toning for skin care, etc.) I can easily control the benefits and the smell for the things I make.

It comes in a large bottle that will provide many uses. It washes clean, easily, without leaving any residue.

I received this at a significant discount in exchange for an honest review.

I seriously, seriously, seriously love these books! I will start off by saying I received the book at a significant discount in exchange for an honest review….but I would happily pay full price for this. Honestly.

I am a homeschool mom who has been teaching my son at home for the last 4 years. We are about to start 4th grade and I have sifted through a metric ton or so of curriculum and supplemental books in the last few years. It’s overwhelming. There are so many wonderful resources (and equally as many awful books and such.) This series has become a very bright little spot in our schooling endeavors.

The author writes in simple but interesting language. She incorporates facts, art, geography, culture and history into modern day language and most importantly, modern day application. Such as, talking about how your relationship with your family members might be if you lived in older times…children are able to connect because they understand their current relationships and can imagine applying those to past times.

These books are great for elementary aged students. Slightly older students might use them as supplemental material for projects. If you are looking for great additions to your homeschool curriculum, these won’t disappoint you.

I will preface this by saying I have had about a dozen diffusers that I have used in my home. I am a bit obsessed. :) However, when offered the chance to receive this one at a significant price reduction in exchange for an honest review, I thought it would be a great chance to test out yet another model.

This diffuser has a round footprint that is just 5 inches or so, so it fits just about anywhere. It has a soft hum (not noiseless as described in the listing) that is soothing. Very similar to white noise, but much softer in volume. It has very simple controls with just two buttons: a light button and a mist button. The light button, if clicked once, will rotate through a variety of shades and colors. You can click the button again on any color and it will stay on that color instead of continuing to rotate. The mist button, if clicked once will turn on intermittent misting (30 seconds on, 30 seconds off) which prolongs the duration the diffuser will run. If clicked a second time it will runs constantly. There are no other timer options on this diffuser.

This is a solid little diffuser. Your options are minimal, but it does the job and the price can’t be beat. It comes with the AC adapter and a handy little cup to fill the diffuser to the proper line with water.

Another great use for these boxes, is to store essential oils. I have searched high and low for a good way to keep my oils safe, but easily accessible and easy to see. This meets all the criteria. It’s nice enough looking that it can sit on my counter too…which in general, oil bottles make too much clutter. This is just an ideal solution for me.

I received this tea box at a significantly reduced price in exchange for an honest review.

This book is a great book to have on hand for a beginner. It gives a great overview of using oils for those who are new to the idea. I appreciate that she doesn’t just rely on aromatherapy but also talks about direct application and ingestion. I wish her sections about the various oils were more detailed but since this is a beginner book I can appreciate that she didn’t want to overwhelm people with too much information. Overall this is a great place to start with oils…I look forward to other books the author may put out.
